
The relics of Pittsburgh, PA’s angular DIY riff-salad collaborative, A Voice Like Rhetoric, have reemerged with their new project “Champing,” a sharper, heavier sound built on more depth and grit.
The timeline might be over a decade apart, but the threads remain unbroken. The guitar-forward urgency and angular compositions still echo back to their hyper-focused and post-punk origins.
Champing’s debut EP, Cult Self Not, arrives in Fall 2026. Its title serves as both a nod to formative influences and the mindfulness of self-awareness.
